From Tasmania, Mr Rowan rowed competitively for 10 years. After racing at the 2015 Under 23 World Championships in Bulgaria, he moved to California to begin his Master’s of Sport Management. While in California, he coached the Santa Clara University Men’s Team to their first ever appearance at the IRA National Championships. He then transitioned to a Head Coach role at Los Gatos Rowing Club and took the club to their first Regional and National Championship Gold in 8 years. Joining Trinity in 2021, Mr Rowan took Trinity’s Senior Squad to 4 A-Finals at the National Championships in 2022 and is now coaching Trinity’s Senior Team to the 2023 National Championships.
