Josh began rowing in Year 7 at Sydney’s Church of England Grammar School. Moving to Queensland in Year 9, he joined the TSS Rowing Program, where he rowed in the Year 10 1st Quad, Year 11 1st VIII and Open 1st VIII, culminating with a strong showing at the 2019 National Championships. After graduating in 2019, Josh began to coach Learn-to-row at TSS, and later joined the Trinity Program in 2021. He coached the Year 8 Boys in 2022 to a Bronze Medal in the Quad and multiple A-Finals at the School State Championships.
