Sam joined Trinity Rowing at the end of 2007 and enjoyed rowing for Trinity throughout high school, competing at a state level. In Year 12, Sam was named Rowing Captain and stepped into a coaching role at the end of the year. Sam has now been coaching at Trinity for 9 years, with the highlight of his tenure occurring in 2021 and 2022, where he coached the Boys Squad to numerous A final appearances at the National Championships in Tasmania and Victoria respectively. Sam now works as a high school teacher.
